It started 20 years ago when I got ahold of an old beat-up guitar and started my musical journey with folk songs and soon took some basic classical piano.
Went to music school for a couple years, and got involved in worship training in Portland and Vancouver.
As I got involved in training people asked about lessons, so I set up shop as a guitar instructor in Portland, Oregon.
With 20 years experience playing and five years of teaching, I always try to go back to basics when I teach guitar and piano. I enjoy meeting new students and helping them through the learning process step-by-step giving them fun songs to learn to keep them motivated.
